Pere Ginard

Pere Ginard (Mallorca, 1974) is an illustrator, cineaste and co-founder of Laboratorium (www.laboratorium.cat) a small studio which combines the creation of films and experimental publications with illustration and graphic work for the press and television.
As an illustrator he won the national illustration award INJUVE in 2000; the second prize in the Second International Competition of the �lbum Infantil Ilustrado Ciudad de Alicante in 2002; the Junceda de ilustraci�n infantil-juvenil de la Asociaci�n de Ilustradores Profesionales de Catalunya prize in 2006 and his work has been exhibited in the Bolgna Children�s Book Fair (Italy, 2003 and 2004), the Bratislava Bienal de Ilustraci�n (2003) and the Itabashi Art Museum of Tokyo (2003 and 2004) amongst others.
